This hostel is located in the historic part of Collbató, at the foot of Montserrat Mountain. The surroundings are beautiful and the majestic massif of Montserrat can be seen from any part of the hostel. 200 m away is a small path that starts out at the Chapel of la Salut and ends at the Salnitre Caves. This is an old mansion that has been totally refurbished turning it into a small charming hostel. Preserved within the residence is the Catalan Vault, an architectural feature that was very popular in the past. The first floor has a cosy fireplace. This is much more than just a rural hostel; it is a place where one can lose and find oneself; a place that transports guests to another century, but with the added attraction of the comforts and facilities of a modern hotel. Food is served at the hostel's restaurant. Guests can stay connected during their stay thanks to the Internet access provided, and can leave their vehicles at the car park. The hostel offers a bicycle rental service. All the rooms in the hostel are decorated in a cosy style, and each room has its own unique style and characteristics, thus lending it a particular charm. All rooms have a full en suite bathroom with bath, shower, hairdryer and daily change of towels. Heating is provided, as is satellite TV, a telephone and ADSL and wireless Internet access. Guests can take a dip in the hostel's swimming pool, or for an additional fee try their hand at horse riding and biking. The hostel has a restaurant that offers home-cooked food made from local produce. There is a varied choice of high-quality dishes, with both set menu and à la carte options available at lunch time.
