San Antonio has a great food scene, which is much needed when you need to refuel after a night of partying. You’ll find a mix of fast food chains and pub-like venues serving English breakfast alongside more sophisticated dining venues such as Café del Mar which is synonymous with the island’s laid-back reputation. Found on the sunset strip, its menu consists of light appetizers including sushi – perfect for a sundown sitting. Over in its port area, you’ll find Rio Ibiza, a top-quality dining experience which features a rooftop barbecue. It also comes with a bottomless brunch option from 11am, ideal for those late risers. If you’re craving something international The Curry Club guarantees spice-infused dishes, while David’s offers great value Italian fare. As for clubbing, the resort is home to the popular nightclubs Eden and Es Paradis, but you can’t miss open-air events like Zoo Project at Benimussa Park, just outside of San Antonio. With a wildlife theme, don’t be surprised if you see people covered in animal body paint dancing to techno music.

Made up of sprawling shores and smaller coves, you’re bound to find a sunbathing spot when you come to San Antonio. Perhaps its most famed, S’Arenal is a top choice mainly due to its 500 metres of sand and wide selection of watersports. The shallow waters are ideal for those travelling with little swimmers and the backing of bars and restaurants ensure you never go hungry. Adored for its white sand, Playa Es Pouet is a cove, but despite its smaller size it never feels crowded. Protected by the wind, you don’t have to worry about your towel blowing away either. Alternatively, a short ferry ride or car journey will take you to Cala Bassa, where delicate sand gently shelves into emerald shallow waters, while its backing of Sabina trees provide plenty of shade. You can expect large crowds during peak season, so make sure you arrive early to secure the best sunbathing spot.

Holidays in San Antonio are non-stop, with a partying calendar to be proud of alongside an endless list of watersports and mouth-watering restaurants everywhere you turn, no two days are the same. Found along the S’Arenal waterfront, you’ll be welcomed by plush VIP beds, free-flowing Champagne and amazing entertainment. But you can’t come to Ibiza without a sunset sitting with firm favourites like Café del Mar, Café Mambo and Savannah warming you up with low-key DJ sets. Most people tend to hit the West End or hop on a boat for some deck dancing before heading to the resort’s superclubs Eden and Es Paradis, while other big-name venues such as Amnesia, Pacha, Ushuaïa are just a taxi ride away.

Discover Ses Salines Natural Park: If you want to escape the clubbing scene altogether and get back to nature, as one of the most important marine and land reserves in the Balearic Islands, this idyllic landscape comes with incredible wildlife sightings, which resulted in it gaining a UNESCO status. Just 30 minutes down the road, find everything from scenic beaches, a variety of flora and fauna, salt flats and pale clifftops – a stark contrast from the noisy offerings of San Antonio.
