Beautiful beaches in Cala'n Bosch

A relatively small resort, Cala’n Bosch has a quaint cove of white sand that shelves into cool, shallow waves. With sun loungers to hire and watersports off the shore, you can be as relaxed as you like. Playa de Son Xoriguer is in the next cove over and is slightly bigger. Here you enjoy sea swimming in the sectioned off zones and kayaking experiences. Further along, the coast is the Son Saura nature reserve with the Platja de Bellavista beach. In an isolated location, enjoy strolls to the beach through shaded trees as well as snorkelling opportunities in the crystal clear water.

With harbour-side restaurants, you can enjoy a seafood meal as you watch the luxury yachts and fishing boats come into dock. Browse the evening market stalls selling handmade trinkets and visit the vibrant live music bars to immerse yourself in the traditional music scene.

Aquarock Waterpark: One of the most popular attractions in this resort is the family-friendly Aquarock Waterpark. With rides and slides, there’s something to keep the whole family entertained. Jump over waves in the wave pool, take your little ones to the splash park and let big kids run wild on the slides. With raft rides and slides including the speedy kamikaze, there’s a lot of fun to be had here. There’s even a small go-karting track where the competitive types can race each other. But, if you prefer a more relaxed pace, there’s plenty of sun loungers to relax on and a restaurant stocked up with snacks, ice cream and drinks.

Shopping: Enjoy shopping in the marina-side mall where you can pick up locally produced leather sandals as authentic souvenirs to take home. Around the marina is an array of beach shops where you can purchase everything from bucket and spades to sunglasses and clothing. There are also quaint bakeries for freshly baked bread and pastry snacks and clothing shops. Cala’n Bosch’s great location is near the historic Ciutadella. Only a 25 minute drive away, this town offers great shopping opportunities in its sprawling markets and international branded stores.
