With a lively vibe and plenty of friendly faces, Puerto Colón isn’t just any old harbour. It’s a hub for water sports and boat tours, allowing you to explore more of Tenerife and the other Canary Islands. The marina itself is beautiful, with boats bobbing on the sparkling water, a rugged volcano standing tall in the background. Look down into the water and you’ll spot colourful fish before looking up and admiring the rocky skyline. Located close to an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars, this is a prime location that’s well worth exploring.

Siam Park: Are you looking for your next adrenaline rush? Then Siam Park won’t disappoint. This Thai-themed water park is said to be one of the best in the world. It offers an abundance of rides that are framed by amazing architecture and is home to the world’s largest lazy river. The Tower of Power is one for those who want to get their blood pumping; this water slide drops from a height of 28m and you’ll reach speeds of up to 50mph. As if that wasn’t thrilling enough, you’ll pass through an aquarium filled with sharks and stingrays.

Barranco del Infierno: Translating to ‘Hell’s Gorge’, Barranco del Infierno is a beautiful ravine with vast depths and rocky terrain. The ravine is so beautiful and well-protected that only 300 people per day are allowed to visit, which is thought to preserve the wildlife and plants within. Most people come to enjoy the three-hour hike through the wilderness, being rewarded with a view of Tenerife’s highest waterfall at the end. You’ll hear beautiful birds chirping while making your way through rocky cliffside and lush green pathways.
