Coral Bay holidays

Coral Bay is a tourist hotspot so there is a wide selection of British and international cuisine on offer, as well as local dishes. There are several Blue Flag beaches along the coastline here, the most popular is Coral Bay Beach. This long stretch of white sand is dotted with sun loungers and umbrellas so you can enjoy the heat while protecting your skin from the sun. The crystal clear water is safe and shallow, ideal for those travelling with young children. There is a range of watersports on offer to keep you entertained between building sandcastles and swimming including banana boats, pedalos, jet skis and water skiing. For those who would like to discover the world beneath the glistening surface, there is a diving school that caters for both beginners and experienced divers.

Dance the night away It’s not quite Ayia Napa, but Coral Bay is known for its nightlife. Head to Coral Bay Avenue, the main street that runs down to the beach and you’ll find it is lined with restaurants, shops and bars. Among them, you can dance the night away to DJs at clubs that stay open until the early hours or simply enjoy a Brandy Sour, the national drink alongside some live music.

Hike through the Avakas Gorge Just north of Coral Bay is Avakas Gorge which is in Pegeia state forest and was formed over thousands of years by a fast flowing stream. It is just under 2 miles long and reaches heights of up to 30 metres. During the hike, you’ll spot an array of wonderful flora and fauna as you follow the course of the Avgas River.
