But, if you do want to sample some local delicacies, there’s a lot of Spanish cuisines you can try, too. Paella is a popular choice. Things to do in Ca'n Picafort

With the resort’s laid-back atmosphere you may think that there’s not much to do other than relaxing on its beautiful beaches but that’s far from the truth. There’s a lot to explore in the Ca’n Picafort area from shopping and nature to thrilling family attractions. Enjoy it all with the whole family.

Shop at the market: Taking over the promenade every Friday morning is the resort’s weekly market. Wake up early and head down to the beachfront to browse the many stalls selling everything from handmade home decorations, local and traditional souvenirs and fashion items such as clothing, and accessories. There’s also plenty of other shopping opportunities in this area with handbag and jewellery shops along the promenade.

Explore S’Albufera Natural Park: Head north along the coast to explore the expansive S’Albufera Natural Park. This nature park opened in 1988 and is a protected area as a great number of wildlife live there. Stroll along the nature trails to explore the stunning wetlands. See if you can spot wild turtles, fish and dragonflies. Avid bird watchers will love this area as there are over 95 species of bird including the Moustached Warbler and Purple Gallinule. With walking and cycling routes to choose from, there’s plenty of ways you can enjoy the 16.4 square kilometres.

Race at Karting Ca’n Picafort: There’s nothing like a competitive game to lift the family’s spirits on holiday. Race each other around the large track at Karting Ca’n Picafort. The go karts can reach huge speeds of 120km per hour, so there’ll be no stopping you. Pretend you’re an F1 racer and see who can get the fastest time. With slower carts and a smaller track for kids, everyone can get involved in this exciting day out.
