Skiathos holidays

Mainstream yet authentic with a mix of modern and ancient charms, Skiathos is an island of real contrasts. Adored for its compact seven mile size and its abundance of greenery, get lost among its pine forests and stumble upon world-class beaches. Part of the Sporades, a verdant archipelago in the Aegean, it’s one of the least visited island groups. But this Greek hotspot has seen a sudden surge in tourism after it starred in the ABBA-themed film Mamma Mia. When you’re not admiring natural assets and seeking out Hollywood filming locations, Skiathos Town is a must-see. While, the medieval must-see Kastro isn’t much further.
